What causes acne?
One of the most important factors in the formation of acne is the hormonal imbalance that occurs during puberty. Increased hormone levels lead to more active sebaceous glands. In addition, hair follicles get clogged with dead skin cells. The sebum accumulates and is released in the skin. This leads to inflammation and the formation of pimples.

- Environmental factors
- High humidity in the environment
- Oily, pore-sealing cosmetics
