Whether it be within your career or social circles, a youthful appearance is vital for anyone seeking advancement. As seen in the past decade, this has led to a rapid increase in the amount of men and women seeking cosmetic procedures. More recently, individuals have been turning to nonsurgical treatments to minimize facial wrinkles and other signs of aging. Soft-tissue fillers have become a popular choice for those seeking a nonsurgical solution to turn back the clock on facial aging. According to a recent survey from the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, soft-tissue fillers have a 92 percent patient satisfaction rate. What specifically was obtained from this study?
Thousands of Patients Surveyed
The American Society for Dermatologic Surgery surveyed 6,300 patients on their opinions of cosmetic procedures. Of the patients that opined on soft-tissue fillers, 92 percent were satisfied and 45 percent were extremely satisfied. Although most individuals considering cosmetic procedures were seeking to remove excess fat, more than 50 percent were seeking a solution to wrinkles and other signs of aging that could be addressed with soft-tissue fillers. 53 percent of individuals surveyed mentioned that they are considering soft-tissue fillers in the future.
Quick Fix for Facial Aging
Soft-tissue fillers are now seen as a viable option for reducing wrinkles and other signs of facial aging. Compared to cosmetic surgery, soft-tissue filler injections require less preparation, take less time to perform, and carry much few risks. Soft-tissue Injectable fillers can often be administered in as little time as a lunch break, a major plus for today’s overwhelmingly busy individuals. The one downside to soft-tissue filler injections is their need to be repeated every few months; however, this still requires less time and money than traditional cosmetic surgery procedures.
