What is the Selphyl hair restoration procedure like?
The procedure is pretty simple. First, we’ll draw a small amount of your own blood. Then, your blood will be placed in a centrifuge to separate the platelets from the red and white blood cells. The platelets are the key! They are then injected back into the area where you need hair growth. The platelets encourage the prolonged release of growth factor hormones, stimulating the stem cells in your scalp, and rejuvenate your follicles to grow new hair!
There is little to no downtime with Selphyl, but afterward, you’ll be asked not to scrub or scratch your head for up to 72 hours. The whole process is a series of 3 of these treatments, all spaced about four to six weeks apart. Depending on the severity of the loss, some patients may require a second series of injections, but see the most dramatic improvement can be recognized with the first series.

It takes 3-6 months to see your Selphyl final results, but they are worth it!
