Dr. DiSpaltro joined Advanced Dermatology and the Center for Laser and Cosmetic Surgery in 2003. He is experienced in many medical and cosmetic dermatology areas and offers his patients a wide range of treatments available in our offices.
He earned a bachelor of arts degree in biology from Binghampton University and pursued his medical degree at the Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara. Dr. DiSpaltro went on to complete a sub-internship and an internship in general surgery at Downstate Medical Center. He joined the United States Army Medical Corps, where he was a Captain and served as Chief of the clinic at The Kimbrough Army Hospital in Maryland. Upon completing his military duties, Dr. DiSpaltro furthered his education through an internal medicine residency at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey at Robert Wood Johnson Medical Center. He practiced Emergency Medicine for several years while pursuing research in immunology and clinical trials at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, where he worked with world-renowned dermatologists. In 1999 Dr. DiSpaltro continued his studies by returning to a dermatology residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York, where he completed his training.
