Dr. Paul E. Brody is a clinical Dermatologist with more than 30 years experience in private practice. After graduating from Yeshiva College, summa cum laude, with a major in Mathematics, Dr. Brody completed an MBA in Health Care Administration at the Baruch Graduate School of Business – Mount Sinai School of Medicine, in addition to becoming a licensed Nursing Home Administrator. He represented his graduating MBA class as its speaker at Carnegie Hall. During his Administrative Residency, Dr. Brody became interested in the field of medicine. Graduating from SUNY Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, with Distinction in Research, Dr. Brody completed a year of residency in Ophthalmology at the Long Island Jewish-Hillside Medical Center. At his initiative, both the NYC Department of Health and the Nassau County Department of Health instituted glaucoma screening programs, which Dr. Brody administered and operated. Upon a special request from the NYC Department of Health, Dr. Brody became a clinician – and ultimately Physician-in-Charge – at the Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) clinic in Jamaica, Queens, sparking his interest in Dermatology. Successfully completing his Residency training in Dermatology at the renowned Cook County Hospital in Chicago, a rigorous inner-city Medical Center, Dr. Brody was exposed to a large array of medical and surgical dermatologic conditions, developing in expertise in ethnic skin. He presented several clinical cases at the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology and to the Chicago Dermatology Society. As a compassionate physician, Dr. Brody takes a personal interest in his patients’ well-being. Dr. Brody has been affiliated with the NYS Medical Society, Queens County Medical Society, American Academy of Dermatology and Long Island Dermatologic Society. He has published more than 20 professional articles in the fields of Health Care, Ophthalmology and Dermatology.
