Dr. Meryl Joerg is an internationally trained cosmetic dermatologist and Assistant Clinical Professor in the Cosmetic Dermatology Clinic at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. Having studied fine arts and sculpture in Italy, and completed a dermatology externship in Paris, she uses her artistic eye to help her patients achieve a more youthful appearance. She has over 20 years’ experience using a myriad of cosmetic techniques including Botox, fillers, lasers and Coolsculpting to help patients look naturally rejuvenated. At Mount Sinai she teaches the resident doctors the latest techniques in cosmetic dermatology.
Dr. Joerg graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brown University and AOA from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. She did her medical internship at Mount Sinai Hospital and completed her Dermatology training at Montefiore Medical Center.
Dr. Joerg is also conversational in Italian, Spanish, German and French. She enjoys skiing, traveling, frequenting museums, exercising and studying languages. She is a Native New Yorker.
Current awards include nomination to New York Super Doctors List 2024, New York Magazine Top Doctors 2023, Castle Connolly Top Doctors New York Metro Area 2023, Castle Connolly Exceptional Women in Medicine 2023. She has written many articles on skin rejuvenation, acne, and acne scarring.
