We are pleased to introduce the Ellman CheveuxTM II Diode laser to patients at our New York and New Jersey offices. This advanced laser platform emits laser energy at the 810nm wavelength. Worldwide, this wavelength has been used to accomplish more successful laser hair treatments than any other laser wavelength. We pride ourselves on offering our patients the best laser hair removal treatments, so naturally the Ellman Cheveux is among the lasers we offer.
There are many reasons why the Cheveux is considered the gold standard in laser hair removal. Here are some of the reasons we choose to offer this technology in our Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, Manhattan, and Suffolk County locations:
The Ellman Cheveux Diode laser can be used on patients of all skin types. It is most effective when used to treat darker colored hair, as is the case with all laser hair removal systems. We recommend this treatment to patients who are looking to achieve permanent hair removal quickly. Not only are treatment sessions performed more rapidly with the Ellman Cheveux, but many of our patients achieve effective results within 6 sessions.
Laser hair removal can be performed at many of our offices, located conveniently throughout New York and New Jersey. During the process, you will be seated comfortably in a treatment chair. While most of our patients do not require any numbing gel, we offer this to anyone who is concerned about discomfort during the treatment. Once you are comfortable, the laser head will be positioned above the targeted area and the laser will be activated. Your doctor will continue to move the hand piece to new locations until the entire treatment area has been covered. After your treatment, you are free to resume normal activities immediately. While you may experience some redness or tenderness, it should not interfere with your usual activities, and the results can be viewed in our before and after laser hair removal treatment results.
Laser hair removal is a safe and effective way to eliminate unwanted body hair. There are, however, some risks involved with the treatment, such as skin pigmentation changes. In order to minimize risks, it’s important that you work with a qualified doctor or medical professional. The team at Advanced Dermatology knows how to assess patients and choose the most appropriate laser for their needs. Thanks to our experience and qualifications, we are able to offer the highest levels of safety and efficacy to our New York and New Jersey patients.
